Do you have trouble concentrating and focusing during the day? Stress and a busy lifestyle can make it difficult to stay on task, but this can severely impact your work and personal life over time. More and more people are turning to mind-enhancing supplements and herbs that promote better memory and brain functioning, but few people realize that the effects are only temporary. Stemulite is just one of the latest mental performance enhancers available, and one that can provide long-lasting benefits.

The key to Stemulite's efficacy in boosting mental performance is that it promotes a more healthy metabolism, which, in turn, encourages your neurotransmitters to function more efficiently. The end result is that you can concentrate more deeply, remember things more easily, and simply feel more alert and energetic. If you want to achieve these results without risking the potentially dangerous side effects of poor-quality supplements, Stemulite may be for you.

Neurotransmitters and Mental Performance - What You Need to Know

Neurotransmitters such as norephinephrine, dopamine, GABA and serotonin play an important role in your mood and thinking processes. Some are connected with feelings of pleasure and love, while others are associated with energy, stimulation and anxiety. Different neurotransmitters produce different feelings and emotional states, and a deficiency in any area can result in poor mental performance and feelings of depression or low self-esteem.

Dietary supplements that support healthy neurotransmitter functioning can improve your mood and improve mental performance on a regular basis. When neurotransmitters are not able to cross the blood-brain barrier, you may notice several negative mood states and feelings of lethargy, low motivation and even depression. Stemulite contains several ingredients that enhance neurotransmitter functioning, which can help improve mental processing with ease.

What Brain-Boosting Ingredients Are in Stemulite?

Stemulite contains several ingredients that can improve your health overall, and give your brain a boost. Stemulite contains:

L-carnitine, one of Stemulite's key components, is an amino acid derivative included for its effects on mental alertness and memory, as well as its promotion of cell repair

ALA or alpha lipoic acid, is commonly taken as a supplement by bodybuilders and other athletes who want to perform at their physical and mental best for the boost it gives to the metabolism. By improving the metabolism, ALA facilitates the efficient delivery of energy to the body and mind.

Eggplant extract - this extract contains an alkaloid that can help improve muscle and tissue development. This means you can enjoy the benefits of improved tissue repair, which may also help with better mental performance over time.

Indium enhances physical and mental performance in a wide variety of ways. This earth mineral, in addition to promoting the availability of oxygen to your muscles, stabilizing hormonal imbalances, promoting healthy function of the adrenal system, and increasing cognition, has been linked to enhanced memory and more restful sleep.

Eating a balanced diet and keeping up with a consistent exercise regiment can help, but supplements can help give your brain a boost. A steady supplementation program with Stemulite can help improve your thinking processes and enhance mental performance - all without dangerous side effects and extreme mood changes.

You can get better results from your consistent workout regimen and with a sound nutrition program with the aid of a complete nutritional supplement, and have the increase in muscle size, strength and endurance that you want. Almost all professional bodybuilders and athletes go through 'phases' during their training programs to ensure they are meeting their performance goals and eating just enough to feed their muscles. Eating large amounts of protein, eating small meals, and taking supplement throughout the course of the day is essential for success, and to maximize muscle gain, this is usually done during the off season phase.

After going through the first phase, bodybuilders go through several other phases that requires them to change their intake of carbohydrate-rich foods, lean proteins, and supplements like Stemulite to be able to support each stage of the training program. Understanding what is involved in each of these phases can help you create an effective training program that gets the results you need.

The Off Season - Your goal for this phase is to build as much muscle as you can. Bodybuilders support their performance outcome by eating healthy carbs and high amounts of protein through the course of the day, according to Louise Burke, the expert author of %u201CPractical Sports Nutrition%u201D. They typically follow a consistent schedule of these foods to make sure they're meeting their protein requirements and may design their eating plan around their workouts to further enhance results.

Hypertrophy Phase - During this phase, it is common practice to follow a very rigid eating plan that means eating every 2-3 hours - even overnight. To eat just enough food to maintain weight and to be able to allow the body to increase strength is your goal for this phase. This may be reached with the right selection of foods that build up muscle and carbs that provide sustainable energy.

Competition Prep - Most bodybuilders begin their competition preparation between 6 to 16 weeks before the event. This period may involve severe calorie restriction to reduce body fat, and maintain a schedule of sustained weight loss up to the event. The primary goal here is to lose body fat and not muscle that was built up during the off-season. This can be achieved by eating low-fat, high protein meals, or replacing a meal with a complete nutritional supplement like Stemulite Fitness Formula, and coordinating meals with a consistent workout regimen.

Cutting Phase - This phase typically occurs right before the competitive event, and involves severe calorie restriction to stimulate rapid fat loss. Many bodybuilders drastically reduce their calories and rely on supplements to achieve nutritional balance. This phase may also include intensive circuit training routines and getting more rest so that the body can recover easily.

Post Competition - Many bodybuilders resort to binge eating immediately after the competition since they've been on a near starvation diet for up to 6 months prior to competition. This is a health hazard for many because of rapid weight gain in a short period of time. To avoid compromising their health in the during this stage and to maintain some of the results they have worked hard for, bodybuilders should ease themselves into a healthier diet program.

Maintaining a steady nutrition program is difficult with the different phases that most bodybuilders go through. You will be able to increase your chances of long term success with sound nutritional principles, using a supplement like Stemulite, and work with a nutritionist or dietitian throughout training.

Whether you are into bodybuilding, sports or fitness, a vital part your training for a better body, endurance and improved performance can only be achieved if you have integrated a quality nutrition program. The inclusion of high protein shakes into standard nutrition programs was done to make sure that muscle repair and recovery will be facilitated because of the quick absorption quality of the product.

There is a wide product range of protein shakes, powders and supplements, but athletes prefer supplements that contain whey or soy proteins. Some high protein shakes and supplements instead of using whey or soy protein, use rice protein powders, creatine, and other muscle enhancing ingredients. Studies have been cited in the book "Amino Acids and Proteins for the Athlete" by Mauro G. Di Pasquale, extolling the special properties of whey and whey protein that does not exist in milk proteins.

Homemade high protein shakes are blended with protein powders, various fruits, yogurt and oat products and sweeteners, and can be taken instead of a meal or in between meals. There are also convenient ready to drink formulas made by certain supplement companies to meet the nutritional requirements of people with a busy lifestyle that do not have enough time to make homemade shakes.

High protein shakes contain a number of essential amino acids, vitamins and minerals, and many are ?complete meals' and can be substituted for food. Ready to drink shakes may be nutritionally balanced and the perfect addition to a low-carb diet. Since many bodybuilders and athletes adhere to these types of diets, consuming high protein shakes at regular intervals throughout the day can help them meet their daily nutrition requirements and ensure that the calories are coming from a healthy source.

Ingredients such as whey protein and other kinds of protein improves metabolism and are a steady energy source. Homemade high protein shakes that contain a variety of fresh fruits and oatmeal are energy boosters which have high nutrient, mineral and vitamin content. After a strenuous workout, this can be taken to prevent the lowering of blood sugar levels and to promote muscle repair.

Yet, one of the main advantages of high protein shakes is that it is easily absorbed by the body because it can be quickly digested. Athletes and bodybuilders have very few recommended food options to be taken after rigorous training as any food intake will have faster than normal absorption and utilization. When high protein shakes are consumed after exercise, the maximum absorption rate is at its peak allowing the vital nutrients to aid muscle recovery within hours. Doing this will greatly reduce risk from injury and appease your hunger.

Timing the consumption of high protein shakes, protein powders and supplements is essential for individuals that want to maximize muscle gains and improve metabolic efficiency overall. Consuming supplements immediately after a workout or between meals as a snack can ward off hunger pangs and ensure maximum absorption. Protein powders and shakes can complement an athlete's or bodybuilders' nutrition program so that they are consuming high quality nutrients and making the most of every calorie.

Increasing muscle strength and size are synonymous with weightlifting and bodybuilding. However, weightlifting and bodybuilding offer other fitness benefits as well. Aside from developing strength, you can also improve your stamina and endurance and decrease body fat. If you would want to start or just starting out with weight training, make sure to follow these essential tips to maximize your results.

1. Learn to set realistic goals. Set up a training program that you can stick with for several weeks at a time, and modify it only on specific intervals throughout the year. Bodybuilding is not a shortcut workout, but an ongoing process. You'll need to be realistic about how much time you can commit to your program and organize your day so that you are reaching or exceeding your daily goals.

2. Balance your program with cardio routines. Doing cardiovascular workouts will supplement your strength training as you develop stamina, endurance and even flexibility. Try to do 3 to 4 cardio exercise sessions per week, each lasting 30 minutes long.

3. Add variety to your routine. Bill Pearl, author of "Getting Stronger", advocates changing up routines regularly. Adding variety to your routine will push different muscle groups and can increase your motivation since you are not performing the same moves over a long period. Experts recommend bodybuilders to change their entire routine every four to six weeks.

4. Dress properly. What you wear in the gym has an effect on your workout as well. The right shoes and clothing can make your workout more comfortable and prevent possible injuries. Besides, wearing the right clothes can make you feel good about yourself every time you look in your gym's mirrors.

5. Take your 'before and after' measurements. Taking pictures and measuring yourself frequently throughout your training program can be very motivating and help you stick with your program for the long term. Keep track of your progress with pictures and a workout log; you don't have to share these with anyone, and can turn to them whenever you're feeling unmotivated or 'stuck in a rut' with your workout routine.

6. Develop your mental strength as well. Weightlifting not only builds the body, but it can also train your mind as well. You'll need self-discipline, willpower, and concentration to pull through the challenges your training might present.

You would need to invest effort and time to get your desired results out of bodybuilding and weight training. You can achieve your results faster by creating a solid training program, follow your training schedule and by applying fundamental fitness principles.

A solid nutrition program, backed with knowledge on nutrition, is necessary for any serious bodybuilder. Many uninformed bodybuilders go to great lengths on their training and are often met with disastrous results.Stressed and fatigued bodies are the only outcome of wrong nutritional beliefs and practices. All a bodybuilder has to do to avoid this is to arm himself with basic knowledge on nutrition and practice it. You can avoid falling into the trap of a poor nutrition program by maintaining a log of your food and caloric intake, and making sure you follow the key nutritional guidelines for bodybuilders in training.

Many misconceptions surround nutrition. Fairly recently, high protein diets have become popular. However, limiting yourself to eat only protein has its downsides. Catherine Jackson in her book "Nutrition for the Recreational Athlete" maintains that a high-protein diet often causes irritability and lowers endurance in an individual. This can be remedied by initially consuming adequate amounts of calories. I'll list here some basic and valuable guidelines on nutrition to help you with your training.

Decreased strength - Proteins are the building blocks of muscles and so a low level of it will lead to decreased strength. Eating the right types of protein, and not relying solely on protein powders and protein bars to meet your daily requirements is essential for good health. Foods rich in protein are meat, chicken, egg, milk and soya - based products.

Moodiness or irritability - Irritability is often the result of low blood sugar which means you might not be getting enough carbohydrates in your diet. In addition, a lack of carbohydrates will affect your ability to focus. Get your fill of carbohydrates from fruits, vegetables and whole grains for optimal blood sugar level.

Getting sick more often - Not eating a varied diet can make you prone to developing a cold or infection, which makes it very difficult for you to maintain a consistent workouts schedule. Eat a variety of foods that are rich in B-vitamins and minerals such as bananas, lentils, tuna, potatoes, and turkey.

Reduced pace - If you think your pace is on a decline then you might not be getting enough energy before your workout. You'll need to eat some type of carbohydrate at least 1 hour before your training session, if you want to increase your speed.

Lack of motivation - Losing drive is often a sign of exhaustion. Proper diet and nutrition and enough rest will bring back your initiative in no time. Make it a habit to eat small meals over the course of a day. Successful athletes typically consume a small %u2018meal' every 2-3 hours to maintain healthy blood sugar levels and sustain themselves through a training program.

The bottom line is that improper nutrition leads to training related problems. A great way to boost your training is to take nutritional supplements, such as Stemulite. Eating alone is sometimes not enough and so supplements can help make up for any nutritional deficiencies. Take Stemulite together with a proper nutritional regimen to boost your training results and performance.

Recent researches have shown that bodybuilders can greatly increase their performance and muscle growth by consuming whey protein. Whey protein is derived from real milk and supplies our body with protein, calcium, magnesium and other minerals. Whey protein is compatible with both fat-loss and muscle gain diets and is easily absorbed by our body in its liquid form.

Author Gregg Avedon, of the book "Men's Health Muscle Chow", emphasizes the need for bodybuilders to have a diet of lean protein supplemented by at least one whey protein drink every day. Outlined below are the top benefits a training athlete or bodybuilder can gain from whey protein drinks.

1. Convenient source of nutrients. Whey protein drinks are easily digested and its nutrients are easily absorbed by the body. This makes it ideal for athletes and bodybuilders who lead a fast-paced lifestyle.

2. Lactose free. Bodybuilding professionals and athletes who are lactose intolerant do not need to give up milk products altogether when they consume why protein shakes. These shakes are often made with a combination of egg protein, soy protein and calcium caseinate protein which means they do not have the same negative effects of pure milk products.

3. Rich in amino acids. The body needs high quality protein and essential amino acids to function optimally. Whey protein powders and shakes contain high concentrations of amino acids that aid with protein synthesis and can balance out any nutrition program.

4. Convenient. Besides shakes and drinks, whey protein can be mixed with other foods for a varied and enjoyable diet. They can be mixed with oatmeal, cereals and yogurt. In addition, they can also be mixed into broths and soups to enhance the nutritional value of every meal.

5. Enhances muscle repair. Our bodies need all the protein it can get after an intense workout session for muscle repair and development. Consuming whey protein products after a workout can enhance the rate of muscle repair.

6. Reduces appetite naturally. Whey protein products are ideal for athletes who are on a low-calorie diet since protein regulates appetite. In addition, whey protein drinks can be taken in as a low-calorie meal replacement or as a nutritional snack in between meals.

7. Improves metabolism. Whey protein consumed at timed intervals provides essential nutrients and energy throughout the day. This practice also helps in getting your metabolism to function optimally.

Protein powders are a good source of nutrients for athletes. The nutrients that protein powders contain are great for athletes looking to maximize muscle gains. Combined with a healthy nutritional plan, the right type of protein powder can greatly improve the performance of an athlete.

There are several different types of protein powders available on the market, and the final choice depends on whether the athlete is on a vegan diet, an ultra low-carb diet, or if they are allergic to milk or soy products. The most common types of protein powders and shakes available are: soy protein powders; whey protein powders; calcium caseinate protein powders; and rice protein powders. Individuals who want to add these powders to their nutrition program can ask the following questions to determine which types will be the best fit with their specific dietary needs:

1.Is the drink easy to prepare and consume? Most protein formulations can be made into a shake by dissolving it in water. Some formulas are even available on a ready-to-drink variety. This is ideal for those who do not have the time and the means to prepare a shake recipe.

2. What amino acids does the protein powder contain? Read the ingredients list to find out what amino acids are included in the formula. Amino acids are essential for protein synthesis and muscle repair, and although some forms of protein have naturally occurring amino acids, many shakes and supplements contain more of these nutrients which can be valuable for the average athlete. John Hansen, author of the book, "Natural Bodybuilding" points out that consuming whey protein after a workout provides the most important amino acids for muscle cell repair and growth.

3. What flavors are available? Most brands of protein powder are available in plain, vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and tropical flavors, making it easier for the average bodybuilder or athlete to enjoy a varied diet. Consider the different flavors or a particular brand, and taste test several varieties to make sure you enjoy the taste and texture of the product. This is especially important if you plan to buy the powder in bulk.

4. Is the formula a snack drink or meal replacement? Protein powders are either meant to be as a snack drink or as a meal in itself. Snack drinks are great for those looking to supplement their low-calorie diet. A meal replacement formula requires you to make significant change in your diet as it contains more carbohydrates and calories compared to the snack form.

5. How can you consume the powder? Protein powders dissolve usually dissolve in water but some brands do not easily dissolve in shakes and soups. Test different brands to make sure that you have something that you can enjoy over the long-term.

Professional bodybuilders and athletes in training already know that eating a high protein diet offers several health and training benefits, which is why many add whey protein shakes and powders to their daily diet. However, consuming ready-made shakes and supplements can become boring, making it difficult to stick with a training diet for the long term. Trying new protein shake recipes can help.

You can create your own shake recipes by mixing protein powder with other ingredients. In this way, you create a drink that suits your tastes while providing the nutrition you need. Authors Susan Bowerman and David Heber, of the book "The L.A. Shape Diet" explains that protein shake recipes can be adjusted depending on the nutritional needs of a person. Try these shake recipes to spice up your training and nutritional program:

Banana Protein Smoothie: You'll need 1 medium banana, 1 cup of soya milk, 1 teaspoon of golden syrup, 3 to 4 ice cubes, 2 tablespoons of vanilla yogurt and of course, 2 scoops of vanilla protein powder. Place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. This drink can be consumed as a meal replacement.

Strawberry Nut Shake: Mix together 2 scoops of vanilla protein powder, 1 cup of low fat strawberry yoghurt, 1/4 cup sliced strawberries and 5-6 shredded macadamia nuts or pine nuts. Blend until smooth and enjoy as a snack or after a workout.

Chocolate Coffee Protein Shake: Mix together 2 scoops of chocolate protein powder, 1 cup of soy milk, 1 cup of water, 1 spoonful of instant coffee and 5-6 ice cubes in a medium blender. This protein powder shake recipe tastes a lot like the creamy, frozen concoctions available at the coffeeshop and can be consumed for breakfast, as a dessert, or as a snack between meals.

Wild Berry Smoothie: You'll need two scoops of vanilla powder, 1 cup of soy milk and one and a half cup each of three wild berries: raspberries, strawberries and blueberries. Place all ingredients in a blender and drop in some ice cubes for a cold drink.

Peanut Butter Smoothie: Prepare 5 to 6 ice cubes, 2 scoops of protein, 1 tablespoon of butterscotch pudding, 1 tablespoon chunky peanut butter and 1 cup of soy milk. Process everything in a blender until smooth. Enjoy this rich smoothie as a snack or to complement your meal.

Oatmeal Cinnamon Protein Shake: Mix together 1 cup dry oatmeal, 2 scoops vanilla protein, 3 dashes of cinnamon, 12 oz. soy milk, 1 tablespoon chopped almonds and 2 tablespoons of sugar-free maple syrup in a blender until smooth. This thick shake is an excellent source of healthy carbohydrates, protein and healthy fats, and is best enjoyed as a meal replacement.

Pina Colada Protein Shake: Mix together 2 scoops vanilla protein powder, 1/2 cup pineapple juice, 1/4 cup orange juice, 1/4 teaspoon each of rum and coconut extracts, 1 packet of artificial sweetener and 1/4 cup soy milk in a blender. Add 4-6 ice cubes to thicken and blend until smooth; serve immediately.

Muscle strength, size, and endurance development result from a proper nutrition program and a regular workout regimen. The training programs of professional bodybuilders and athletes are usually segmented into different phases, with each phase having a different workout goal and nutritional diet. Most muscle gains take place during the off season phase. This is a time when an athlete should eat large amounts of protein spread throughout small meals in the course of a day.

There are other phases besides off-season and a transition from another phase requires changing the diet of a bodybuilder to match his or her objectives for each phase. It is crucial for every athlete to understand the dynamics of every training phase to come up with an effective training plan.

Off-Season Phase - As stated above, athletes in this phase are mainly concerned with building up muscles as much as possible. Luis Burke, author of the book "Practical Sports Nutrition", explains that high amounts of protein with healthy carbohydrates are essential to a bodybuilder during off season. Bodybuilders schedule their eating habits to monitor their protein intake and may even schedule their meals based on their training sessions for better results.

Hypertrophy - The main goal during this phase is to increase strength while maintaining weight. Athletes typically follow a strict diet eating every 2 to 3 hours. The diet consists of foods that support muscle growth and healthy carbohydrates for energy upkeep.

Competition Preparation - This phase starts 6 to 16 weeks before a competition. Calorie intake is restricted for a consistent weight loss leading up to the event. This is done to preserve all the muscle built up during off season while reducing body fat. This is easily achieved with a low-fat, high protein diet scheduled around each training session.

Post Competition phase - Bodybuilders are often tempted to overindulge themselves in food after going through restricted diets for months. This practice is dangerous as it promotes rapid weight gain in a small span of time. Besides being a health hazard, most of the results that have been built up during previous phases are erased with rapid weight gain. It is highly recommended for bodybuilders to transition slowly into a healthy nutritional program after each competition.

Each phase requires changing from one diet to another that it is hard for most bodybuilders to keep up with their nutritional plans. Work with a dietitian or a nutritionist to help you in developing a sound nutritional program for a successful career.

Eating right is an important element of bodybuilding success, especially if you're a beginning athlete. Sound nutrition will help you maintain a steady level of energy and ensure you can complete each and every workout session; the only way you'll be able to build muscle and strength in the long-term is by eating enough calories throughout the day and getting enough rest. Eating the wrong foods at the wrong time can set you up for disaster, and severely limit your performance and muscle gains.

Bodybuilders don't always get the best nutritional advice, according to Catherine Ratzin Jackson, author of "Nutrition for the Recreational Athlete". She explains that bodybuilders source these advices from tips provided by magazines and nutrition stores' experts. These sources may mean well in giving out advices, but most of the time, these sources do not bother to be as precise in giving out information. Take these advices with a grain of salt. Get your facts about nutrition right. Here is some nutrition basics accepted and followed by professional bodybuilders.

1. Avoid sudden weight loss. Do not be impatient about losing weight as sudden weight loss destroys lean body tissues in the process thereby constraining muscular development. Starving yourself with a low-calorie diet to lose weight quickly deprives your body of essential nutrients and electrolytes needed for proper bodily functions. Moreover, you will not achieve your desired body weight by having a low-fat and high-protein diet.

2. Always calculate your protein requirements. Muscles need protein to build up strength and mass. Just make sure that you are getting the right amount of it. Too much or too little of this nutrient will not produce your desired results. Different people need to take different amounts of protein as measured by their Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA). The RDA of protein for sedentary individuals is 0.8g/kg per day. While for athletes, the RDA is set at 1.0-1.5 g/kg. Make it a habit now to check the nutritional labels of each food you eat to keep track of your protein consumption.

3. Quality counts. Eating quality food - wholesome, unprocessed food - as often as possible is an important part of your bodybuilding program. Eating nutrient-rich foods from plant and animal sources will help you achieve your goals faster; avoid counting solely on meal replacements and supplements that leave you feeling hungry and are not metabolized as efficiently as real food.

4. Exercise caution in taking supplements. It is now widely acceptable to use supplements for performance enhancement. Supplements are a great help to any athlete but they do cause some negative side effects, especially if abused. Supplements are designed to be added, or supplement, our nutrition program. Supplements are by no means created to replace proper diet and exercise.

5. Eat the right food before and after a training session. These periods are important for muscle development. What you eat will have an important effect on your results. Always take into account what you eat during these periods in a journal to track your results and even improve your food selection and consumption timing.
